  1. Symatec C++ 6.11 Libraries quick fix instructions

  3. The files provided here are:
  4.  
  5. rtlread.1st  - Patch navigator text file (this file).
  6.  
  7. rtlupdat.txt - Libraries Bugs fixed in 6.11
  8.  
  9. rtlupdat.bat - The batch file that will patch your current SC Run Time Libraries.
  10.               NOTE: Run this batch file from your \SC directory.
  11.  
  12. rtl611.exe  - Self extracting zip file that contains all that is necessary 
  13.               to make this patch. NOTE: Run this first
  14.  
  15. sdx-611.rtp - The file that contains the patch for sdx.lib
  16. sdl-611.rtp - The file that contains the patch for sdl.lib
  17. swm-611.rtp - The file that contains the patch for swm.lib
  18. restrtl.rtp - The file that contains the patch for rest of the libraries
  19.  
  20. inc32.rtp   - The file that contains the patch for WIN32 header files
  21. restinc.rtp - The file that contains the patch for base header files
  22.  
  23. rtlpatch.exe   - Utility to patch the files.

  26. To patch:
  27. 1. Copy the rtl611.exe file down to your \SC directory and 
  28.        change directory to \SC.
  29. 2. Type "rtl611" - this will expand all necessary files.
  30. 3. Type "rtlupdat"  - this will run the batch file that will patch the libraries
  31.    to version 6.11. It will clean up all the unneeded patch files.
